Inside Sales Support

Primary Purpose of the Job:

The inside sales support position’s main purpose will be to support the ControlAir sales team in a few key areas. They may be the initial contact for new business that may come to ControlAir in the form of a phone call, email or web-based call to action. They may also act as a liaison between our end customers and our distributor network, efficiently moving any phone inquiries, RFQ’s and information to our distributors and resellers so that they may adequately support the customer. They will also serve as a backup order entry person for our customer service personnel as needed.

Essential Duties:

End Customer Support

• Review Web-Based and emailed RFQ’s and information requests and answer accordingly
• Refer customers to local distributors
• Answer general customer inquiries, including being part of a team that answers the phone as first point of contact

Distributor Support

• Provide standard part numbers, pricing and lead time for distributors
• Provide RMA numbers for goods that need to be returned

Customer Service department support

• Be part of a team to answer incoming phone calls
• Relay standard pricing and lead times to our distributors
• Enter and check orders as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous order entry and customer service are preferred.

Required Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel a must)
• Prior use of CRM software for logging daily activities
• “Pitch in” to cover for missing inside salespersons to direct calls and provide order updates
